This book is ideal if your child wants a more in depth look at mummification and the Egyptian preparation for the afterlife.  It details vividly with cartoons how Egyptians were prepared for their mummification, including information on what happened with body parts, which tools an embalmer may have used, the symbols and hieroglyphics used and mummies through history.

A really fascinating read, our next project involves mummifying action men to see how it was done....so this is a great way to explain everything in depth first!
