The Game that is Worth 1,000 Worksheets (and then some!)

As you might have guessed already, we love games here ;) Not just board games, but card games also. We were really lucky early on to stumble across this fantastic game with instructions online...we already had more than one deck of cards, so we were ready to play :)

Math Cold War may also be know under different names, but to us it has meant simple learning with cards, at it's best!....Our eldest had a trial at the local school for a couple of days recently, and they did a maths exercise with their times tables ...each equation was given 50 seconds for someone to get right verbally, and I'm very proud to say that DS beat the one who was top of the class every time :))) I know that this game helped him come on leaps and bounds in his mental arithmetic, so I'm hoping others can use it as well, all that's needed is a few packs of cards and you're ready to play.  It can be used for all forms of maths equations.

We'd love to have your feedback on it in the comments, should you use it....it really worked for us, and it's a game DS loves playing.
