Rummikub has been a favorite in our house for the past 15 years, mainly used by adults up until this week. Our boys are now joining in playing it with us.
Similar to Gin Rummy, in this version numbered coloured tiles are used and the first to empty their tile holder wins. Players must lay a sum of at least 30 tiles to start, once tiles are laid anyone can add to them and manipulate them. Tiles must be placed in either sequential order, or same number but different colours. No few than 3 tiles can be left as a group, if there are less than 3 tiles left after manipulating them then those left must be placed in the players tile holder to use another time.
A fantastic strategy game which is very addictive, an active lateral thinking game, with each game being different.
